At the center of the Monticello AVA, Trump Winery takes pride in producing high-quality wines that are driven by terroir. Our high-density plantings, elevation range of 600–1,000 feet, and focus on sustainable procedures enable us to produce sparkling, white, and red wines that are up to par with the greatest in the world.
There are Chardonnay, Pinot Noir, and Pinot Meunier planted in the sparkling vines. Its colder terroir is why the places were selected. The intrinsic acidity and minerality required to produce genuinely excellent sparkling wine are preserved by these particular microclimates. The traditional Champagne method, Méthode Champenoise, is utilized to make our sparkling wines. The second fermentation takes place in the bottle during this process. The sparkling wines from Trump Winery have been likened to the best Champagnes and listed among the Top Ten American Sparkling Wines.
