We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Finance Manager to lead the financial functions of our client’s joinery business in Abu Dhabi. This role offers an exciting opportunity to oversee financial planning, budgeting, reporting, and compliance, ensuring the company’s financial health and supporting strategic growth initiatives.
Responsibilities:
– Develop and implement financial strategies aligned with company goals.
– Manage budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting processes.
– Oversee daily financial operations including accounts payable/receivable and payroll.
– Ensure compliance with local tax regulations and financial laws in the UAE.
– Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports for management.
– Analyze financial performance and provide insights and recommendations to senior leadership.
– Manage cash flow and optimize the company’s financial position.
– Coordinate with auditors and external financial consultants during audits.
– Lead and mentor the finance team, fostering a collaborative and efficient work environment.
Requirements:
– Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field; professional certifications (e.g., CPA, CMA) preferred.
– Proven experience (5+ years) as a Finance Manager or similar role, preferably in manufacturing or joinery industry.
– Strong knowledge of UAE financial regulations, VAT, and compliance requirements.
– Excellent analytical skills with a keen eye for detail and accuracy.
– Proficient in financial software and MS Office applications.
– Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to manage and develop a team.
– Effective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate across departments.
– Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
– Strong problem solving abilities and strategic thinking mindset.
