Civil Site Engineer – Kasaragod, Kerala
We are seeking a Civil Site Engineer to join our team for a government medical college project in Kasaragod, Kerala. The ideal candidate will be based nearby, with solid knowledge of civil engineering basics, a strong work ethic, and an eagerness to learn. In addition to engineering duties, the candidate will also manage site stores, ensuring proper handling of materials and inventory.
Responsibilities
- Supervise day-to-day site activities, ensuring work is executed as per drawings and specifications.
- Monitor quality of materials and workmanship, reporting deviations promptly.
- Assist in planning and coordinating finishing works (plastering, flooring, plumbing, painting, etc.).
- Maintain site records, measurements, and progress reports.
- Manage site stores: receive, verify, and issue materials; maintain stock registers; track consumption and wastage.
- Ensure timely availability of materials to avoid work delays.
- Support senior engineers and project managers in achieving project milestones.
- Enforce compliance with safety and statutory requirements at site.
