We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Financial Auditor to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for examining financial records, assessing internal controls, ensuring compliance with applicable laws and accounting standards, and providing independent and objective evaluations of financial statements and business processes.
The ideal candidate should have strong technical knowledge, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively with clients and internal teams.
Key Responsibilities:
• Perform external audit assignments for clients across various industries
• Review financial statements and supporting documentation
• Assess internal controls and identify risks or control weaknesses
• Ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards, laws, and regulations
• Prepare audit working papers, reports, and audit findings
• Communicate observations and recommendations clearly to clients and management
• Assist in planning, executing, and completing audit engagements within deadlines
• Support senior team members in delivering high-quality audit services
• Preparation of financial statements drafts
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting is mandatory
• Previous experience in external audit is preferred
• Good understanding of accounting principles and auditing standards
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel
• Good written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Preferred Qualifications:
• Progress toward or possession of a professional qualification such as ACCA, CPA, CA, or equivalent is an advantage
